Pancakes have a long history, stretching as far back as ancient Greece. They appear in various forms throughout the world, from savoury African injera, to the sweet Finnish dessert pancakes known as lettu.
While pancakes can be savoury, they're more often enjoyed sweet. Here is our take on a slimline beauty boosting pancake, combing taste and health.

Makes: 4 pancakes approximately
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Batter Ingredients:
2 Ripe medium bananas
2 Cups organic rolled oats
2 Cups milk of your choice
2 Tsp collagen powder (marine collagen if possible)
2 Tsp organic cocoa powder
Add a tsp of protein powder if you wish
Add a tsp of dragon fruit powder if you fancy pink pancakes
OR
Add a tsp of matcha powder for a green effect
Batter Instructions:
Place all the ingredients in a nutribullet or hand whisk until a smooth batter
Heat a dollop of coconut oil or butter in a non stick frying pan until melted
Ladle in a quarter of the mix into the pan on a medium to low heat. Once the pancake is bubbling flip and cook for a further few minutes the other side
Continue until all the mix has gone and serve immediately with chosen toppings
